President's Message
Welcome to all, new members, continuing members, and prospective members. We have embarked on another exciting year of great activities
for the Cincinnati Women’s Society of CPAs.
Like any organization, CWSCPA is a reflection of its membership. We are a vital, active group of professional women Certified
Public Accountants from the public sector, industry, and other areas. It is up the our members to make the most of their
membership by attending the events and getting the word out on what CWSCPA is all about. We have so much to offer women in our
field and I challenge you to get the most out of your membership by participating in any way you can.
Our yearly schedule of programs is designed to provide regular networking opportunities in an informal environment. Younger
professionals have the opportunity to meet and socialize with veterans and those who may be entering a second career or re-entering
the field after an absence. By checking the “Calendar of Events” on our website (www.cwscpa.org), you can plan to include these
rewarding activities in your own schedule. We are always open to fresh and exciting ideas and suggestions from you, our members.
This is your organization and we need everyone’s input to maintain its success.
These meetings include quality Continuing Professional Education with an annual luncheon seminar and breakfast seminar addressing timely
topics at a reasonable cost; opportunities for public service; and occasions for personal growth and networking. I invite and encourage
all of you to participate in these meetings and contribute some of your time, talent, and expertise to others and to CWSCPA by serving
on a committee. The time involved is minimal compared to the benefits you will reap. These positions of responsibility provide
excellent opportunities to develop and share a variety of skills that are necessary to succeed in the professional business world today.
Our organization provides an appropriate, supportive environment for this professional development.
