President's Message
I am pleased to welcome you to the 28th year of the Cincinnati Women's Society of CPAs. I am delighted to serve as your president for the 2008/2009 year. I want to extend a warm welcome all our current members and I'd also like to
invite prospective members to take a look at this great community of successful
professional women.
The Cincinnati Women's Society of CPAs is an active group of professional women,
working in the accounting and financial industry. We welcome all women CPAs and
those aspiring to become CPAs. I encourage you to take advantage of the
opportunities available through active participation in the CWSCPA. You can
maximize the benefits that you acquire from this organization by participating
in our monthly events and becoming a member of one of our various committees.
Our annual schedule of events provides monthly networking opportunities in
informal settings. We generally provide two different continuing professional
education (CPE) events per year, offered at a reasonable cost. Additionally, we
offer programs including public service opportunities and programs that provide
opportunities for personal growth, professional development and networking.
Please take a moment from your busy schedule and access the "Calendar of Events"
on our website to view the exciting programs that we are planning for the
2008/2009 year. I hope you will find an opportunity to come to an event and
grow your personal and professional network.
